There has been much speculation about whether or not Odell Beckham Jr. wants out of Cleveland during the offseason.
During his Wednesday press conference, he seemingly put those rumors to rest.
“I’ll be here,” Beckham said.
His full quote was, “I’m not going anywhere. I’ll be here. We’re going to figure this thing out. It’s took special to leave.”
The Browns passing game has been up and down this season and Odell has been the main focal point of why it hasn’t gone well.
A couple weeks ago, a report surfaced that Beckham has been battling a sports hernia since training.
Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reported that Odell has been telling other players and coaches “Come get me” after games this season. Mike Silver added after Sunday’s loss to the Cardinals that Beckham and Jarvis Landry were saying the same thing to the Cardinals.
At least with that statement by Beckham now, things should quiet down about him wanting out this offseason.
