Below we take a look the snap counts and statistics for the Cleveland Browns offense in Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

  • Welcome Back Joe: Quarterback Joe Flacco had a solid game in his return to the Browns after being here in the 2023 season. Despite the two interceptions, both of which were not on him according to PFF, Flacco threw for 290 yards on Sunday and is averaging 317.6 yards per game as a Browns QB.
  • Rookie Impact: Rookies Dylan Sampson and Harold Fannin were heavily involved with the offense throughout the game. Sampson did a tremendous job of being an option for Flacco out of the backfield catching 8 passes. Fannin should be considered WR3 on this team because of his ability to line up anywhere on the line of scrimmage.
  • Control the Clock: The Browns managed to win the time of possession battle against the Bengals 35:49 to 24:11. Because the offense is not high powered, the Browns will continue to need to control the ball and not make mistakes offensively if they wish to be competitive in games this season.
